Acted is an international NGO that operates across 43 countries, in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Its primary focus is responding to emergencies to both humanitarian and environmental crises while also focusing on sustainable development (3 zero approach : Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty, Zero Exclusion). 
From managing the efficient distribution of essential resources to coordinating rapid response in crisis situations, our presentation will provide insights on what it is like to work in humanitarian logistics from the Headquarters or directly in the field. 
Several guests will participate in this presentation to talk about their academic background and professional experience with Acted. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, engage in discussions, and interact with the speakers, gaining valuable insights and a better understanding of the humanitarian logistics sector.

Discovering Humanitarian Logistics: Acted’s approach

ACTED is an NGO present in 40 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, working mainly in emergency response to humanitarian and environmental crises. Our presentation will focus on the issue of accountability in the humanitarian sector. Accountability towards beneficiaries but also towards other stakeholders involved in ACTED's humanitarian and development projects. This conference will thus invlve one part on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), as well as a focus on Transparency and Compliance. If you are interested in the issue of building tailored project for and with beneficiaries in the humanitarian sector, this conference is made for you!
