AI-enabled & Human-Centered Automation & Robotics-A Mission Impossible? (Fully-Funded Student Positions)AI is more than a buzzword, it is the future - maybe even YOUR future? Scroll down and find out how you can unlock your career potential and play a key role in making Europe’s economy sustainable and fit for the digital age!
(Semi-)autonomous machine workstations are envisioned to enable higher productivity, reliability and predictability, to reduce the number of accidents, increase operator safety in hazardous environments, and address the shortage of skilled labor in certain industries.
In order to transform this vision of the future into the practice of today, AIT is forming interdisciplinary research teams: automation experts are developing new AI methods for perception, reasoning and action. They work closely with social scientists and psychologists who contribute to the development of advanced adaptive human-machine interfaces and new concepts of cooperation between humans and robots/machines in the early stages of the design process.
